Here craftsmanship, creativity and functionality meet. This is a space where handmade wooden furniture is being designed and created. I focus on using natural materials mainly wood.
My mission is to make furniture that bring life and harmony in the space.
I develop collection of limited edition light units and custom made furniture.
For me bringing sustainability and forest protection are important so I try to bring awareness on this topics.
By adding more natural shapes we transform the space into a home. With the right combination of materials wood brings not only warmness but could make one space feel harmonious and vital.
I believe that wood has the power to transform and to be transformed. When the tree is alive it grows according to the light and environment. Later on the hands of a craftsman shape the it in a way that brings the story of its life. The craftsman creates more than furniture. He thinks about the design, about the functionality and how to show the story of the wood into the finished product.
Baraka projects aims to bring awareness about the importance of the forests.
They are unique ecosystems that balance extreme heath and cold, accumulate a lot of oxygen and keeps the water destroying our settlements. One tree do not make a forest. The human exhaustion of the resources will bring terrible consequences to us. Us as woodworkers and consumers should be aware about that. Using resources from sustainable forests is one of the many things we can make to limit the damages we create.
